Nepean Aquatic Center Eva Bory's Swim School
Our Stroke Development group classes are the next step in your child's journey to swimming success. Good technique and consistent stroke correction is essential to your child's swimming ability and to ensure they are safer in the water. Children at this level will continue to refine their stroke technique and are introduced to all competitive strokes. Students practice racing techniques such as starts, turns and finishes, and begin to build stamina in preparation for competitive squads, swim club or swimming for fitness in the future. The more confident a child is in the water, the safer they are in the water. Progression through our Stroke Development levels is based on skills achieved rather than age, and every child develops at their own pace. Achievement of each skill is celebrated and tracked with a sticker for the child's progression certificate.
