    • Please check in at reception with the iPads to record attendace. This will advise name of instructor, lane, level and pool you are situated.
    • Please allow your arival 5-10 minutes before your lesson startes to get check in and get ready.
    • Ensure that each person has swimmers on before entering the pool. We recommend goggles (from Platypus level and beyond) when learning to swim, and a cap to get hair out of eyes.
    • Non toilet trained children require a swim nappy (nappies can be purchased at reception).
    • Children must only enter the water when invited by their instructor. For the child’s safety, at no time should children be in the water unless under the direct supervision of an instructor. At the end of the lesson, children must leave the water when asked to do so and return to their parent or carer.

  • Absences & Make-up lessons

We know that sometimes things come up – illness, injury, holidays, school events – and that you may not be able to make your scheduled lesson every week. We ask that you mark your absences to allow other customers a chance to use the space for a make-up.

If you advise us 30 minutes prior of your lessons start time you will be entitled to a makeup token.

All makeup tokens are valid for 90 days from the date of absence.

Please note you currently cannot use a make-up token for another student, and you cannot use a make-up token in advance of missed lesson.

Make up lessons can only be booked a maximum of 7 days in advance.

If a student is cancelled out of their permanent booking the make up lessons will be forfeited.

  • Do you charge a booking fee?

No, we do not charge a booking in fee.

  • Is there an alternative to paying fees by Direct Debit.

No – we require Direct Debit details to be held on file for every customer. However you can avoid the Direct Debit by simply paying your account in cash or by card for the following month in advance, by the end of the current month. ie, if you pay for July fees by the end of June, then no Direct Debit will be generated for the month of July.

  • Do I have to give you notice if we are cancelling out of the program?

Yes, please let us know in advance if possible so we don’t charge you for lessons you won’t be attending – it is very important that you let us know if you are cancelling out of the program. If you are wanting to leave the program, it is your responsibility to permanently cancel your bookings before the end of the current month. Once fees are generated you’re booked in for the new month and must pay the fees owing. Requests for permanent cancelation can be sent to contact@nepeanswim.com.au. Bookings are paid for monthly and if cancelling mid month, we are not able to offer pro-rated refunds. .

  • What happens if my instructor is away?

From time to time instructors will be absent through sickness or annual leave, and we will arrange a replacement instructor for that day. All of our instructors follow our weekly lesson plans which ensures you receive the same quality swimming lesson each time you visit, with the added benefit of preparing your child for change and new faces in other learning environments. Your child might even meet their new favourite teacher!

  • Are your staff qualified?

All of our learn to swim staff hold current AUSTSWIM swimming teacher qualifications as well as a current CPR certificate, and all staff have their Working With Children Check number. In addition, all staff have been trained in and follow the lesson plans that are exclusive to our centres, utilising years of swim teaching knowledge and development.

  • Can children attend Aquarobics classes?

Children must be high school age or older to participate, must be able to swim, and supervised by an adult in the water for the duration of the class.

Children who are away from school due to illness are not permitted to join daytime Aquarobics classes.
