Please take 30 seconds to sign the petition at the link below to get kids back to swimming and stop drownings before they happen this summer.

We’re fighting for:
The Commonwealth and lockdown states to support an intensive back to swimming program

A clear plan for the reopening of swim schools, swim and survive and school swimming programs

As our country opens up again and we head into summer, Aussie families will be hitting the beaches, rivers, lakes and backyard pools – it’s part of the Australia we all love and miss.

But in some parts of the country, our kids have missed swimming lessons due to lockdowns over the last two years. It’s our responsibility as governments, communities and parents to stop drownings before they happen.

This is why I am calling on you to sign my petition so we can put water safety in the fast lane, to ensure Aussie kids that have missed out on vital swim and survive skills can get back up to speed as quickly as possible.

Sun, swimming and family gatherings by the water – this is the story of our Australian summer and why we must move now to prevent a national tragedy.

As a nation, let’s put water safety in the fast lane.
