A message for our Swim Families….
Our thoughts are with all of you who’s families have been affected by the current restrictions – hang in there everyone – and let’s hope that these restrictions halt the spread and that we can all get back to school, work and swimming lessons as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, hopefully you are all aware and taking advantage of the Covid-19 Disaster Payment to individuals being offered by the Federal Government? You can apply here: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/services/centrelink/covid-19-disaster-payment
In what is an anxious and frustrating time for so many people and businesses, we are working hard behind the scenes with our Industry Associations to lobby the government and health department to come back as soon as it is safe to do so. Your safety is, as always, our number one priority, and we have a comprehensive Covid safe plan in place for your return, and vigorous cleaning procedures. Recent international studies all point to the safety of Aquatic facilities – in the US over 60,000 Aquatic facilities were monitored, with over 300,000 people passing through, and not one case of Covid transmission was recorded. In the UK, a recent study showed that swimming pool water deactivates the Covid virus. This gives our industry great confidence to return to lifesaving swimming lessons as soon as possible. You can read these studies at the links below:

In line with government regulations, we currently have a small amount of admin staff working from home, so if you would like to get in touch please use online methods such as Facebook message or email – contact@nepeanswim.com.au. As and when we receive any updates they will always be posted on our website, Facebook, Instagram and Mobile app, so you can stay connected and informed at all times.
We are also working hard to improve business processes, carry out cleaning and maintenance that we are unable to perform whilst operational, and introducing new software and a new app with multiple benefits for you, so we can return with staff, processes and facilities ready and raring to go! You might also notice we will have a new look, as our new uniforms arrived just before lockdown.
We hope you are all ok, and can’t wait to see you all back at the pool as soon as possible.
Love to Swim, Swim for Safety, Swim for Life.
The team at Nepean Aquatic Centre and Eva Bory Swim School
